Test Coloured filters on flash

Problem.

Balance colour temperature of flash to artificial light sources.

Method

White target was photographed under different lighting conditions as detailed on each picture.

Apart from the first shot the White Balance on the camera was set to tungsten. The flashgun was mounted on the camera with the light being bounced of the ceiling.

Different grades of orange filter were tried on the flash to achieve the correct colour balance.

In this situation the best colour balance was achieved with one full orange filter on the flash.
